When you think about the American Red Cross, what are your first thoughts and impressions? Although the Red Cross is one of the most universally recognized signs, many people do not understand the scope of what the Red Cross does.
One of the best ways for people to gain this understanding is for those of us who have experienced the Red Cross in-action to share our stories of the effect the Red Cross had on our own life and the lives around us. Whether you were helped during a house fire or a flood, received a blood donation, gave lifesaving CPR from what you learned while taking a Red Cross course or were assisted by Service to the Armed Forces your story is important. Help get the word out about the works of the American Red Cross.
