Austin Red Cross Raises Record $294,000 at Luminaria 2014

On Friday, April 4th the American Red Cross of Central Texas hosted Luminaria, its annual fundraising gala, at the Four Seasons Hotel Austin. The organization raised a record $294,000 for disaster relief services in the Central Texas community.

In addition to raising funds for its lifesaving mission, the Red Cross honored distinguished individuals and organizations that provided outstanding support of the Red Cross in Central Texas over the past year, including Admiral Bobby R. Inman, Lady Bird Johnson Humanitarian of the Year; Whole Foods Market, Public Partner of the Year; and Tom Davis, Greg Coleman Tribute Award recipient (posthumously).
